2D Game Artist - Casual Games (fully remote)

As a 2D Game Artist - Casual Games (fully remote) at SOFTGAMES you will be part of a small agile team. You will work very closely with a game designer/producer and a developer on new Casual Mobile/Instant Games.

You will be fully in charge of conceptualizing and implementing any art, UI, game visuals and animations for new and existing games. You embrace typical technical constraints of the genre and you are familiar with game development. You thrive in experimental environments where we iterate continuously while letting your voice be heard and leaving your artistic stamp behind.

This is a REMOTE position.

**Qualified applicants will be expected to complete a graphics test.

• Take ownership in UI, animations and any art of your game from concept stage to implementation.

• Team up, collaborate and iterate very closely with your game designer/producer and your developer.

• Demonstrate creativity and adaptability.

• You are passionate about games!

• You have 3+ years of experience in game art.

• You have a great sense of aesthetics, composition and color.

• You have a strong affinity for UI/UX design.

• You understand technical constraints and asset optimisation.

• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.

• Experience with 2D animation and special effects.

• Fluent in English, strong communication and interpersonal skills and familiarity with working in a small agile team.
