About the team The Customer Solutions Centre (CSC) in Central Europe brings together product and sales resources, develops solutions & bundles leveraging all Mastercard assets to drive sustainable and profitable growth in an agile form. Covering twelve countries from Germany, Switzerland, Austria & Liechtenstein, to Poland, Czechia & Slovakia, to Hungary and Slovenia as well as Greece, Cyprus and Malta, the Customer Solution Centre combines the expertise of segment-specific Solution Architects and product experts. The Strategy & Operations Associate Specialist sits at the heart of the Customer Solution Center in the Central European Division, working closely with the SVP Customer Solutions Centre and his leadership team as well as country managers and other cross-functional partners. You will align product initiatives translating global and regional objectives into actionable country specific plans and vice-versa bringing the voice of the customer in the market to regional and global product initiatives. The role covers a unique combination of strategy, product management, research and analysis and will also require engaging with critical stakeholders across Mastercards on the market, regional and global level. The job requires an agile and flexible approach. The ideal candidate is passionate about payments, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset. You will leverage analytical methods to complete 360-degree analyses of products and markets considering value-propositions, partnering opportunities, competitive landscapes, mitigating risks, financial impact, and strategic trade-offs. About the Role

  • Works with the SVP to identify and set internal and external strategic priorities, mindful of the corresponding internal corporate metrics needed to evaluate success
  • Helps the leadership team pursuing an agile, connected, efficient, and effective organization as it supports the strategy of the company and the execution of its objectives in Central Europe
  • Builds deep relationships with key market and product leaders to build a collaborative partnership in ensuring alignment of strategy and initiatives
  • Defines, structures, evaluates, and executes cross-functional initiatives including gathering of relevant data, driving analyses and insights, and formulating actionable, data-driven recommendations
  • Supports the CSC leadership team and objectives set forth by the SVP. This will include planning and coordinating meetings and follow-up on projects/initiatives (e.g., leadership meetings, coordinating pre-read materials, and following up on action items as needed) as well as to deliver monthly and quarterly business highlights for various internal audiences
  • Leads the development of compelling and clear presentations and talking points to a variety of external and internal stakeholders
  • Takes on special projects to drive value across company
