Your Role

As an Infra/DevOps Engineer, you will be a key player in advancing Buddywises technological capabilities and delivering a robust, high-performance backend infrastructure that propels our product to new heights.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Deploy and maintain backend systems, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and reliability.
• Build and manage data pipelines for machine learning workloads.
• Utilize Docker for containerization and orchestration.
• Work with Azure and AWS cloud services to deploy and manage infrastructure.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
• Perform release management and coordinate deployment processes.
• Set up and configure monitoring systems to ensure system stability and performance

Your Profile

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should possess:

• Proven expertise in managing backend systems that support highly performant and scalable applications.
• Solid experience with Docker for containerization and deployment.
• Proficient in Python for scripting and automation.
• Experience with resource management in the Azure or AWS cloud and auto-scaling.
• Familiarity with message broker systems like Kafka to facilitate seamless, high throughput communication between services.
• Proficiency in establishing and maintaining CI/CD systems to enhance code deployment speed and quality using GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana.
• Previous experience setting up ML data pipeline is a big plus.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and experience with tools such as Terraform.
• Sound understanding and appreciation of data security and privacy principles.
• Comfort in working within an agile environment and a willingness to challenge yourself and your team to continously enhance your work processes.
