About the role

Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with a leading coatings manufacturer company on the search for a Key Account Manager – Non Stick / High Temperature Coatings to support the company’s growth.

Full time

Responsibilities:

• Continued enhancement of key account relationships: boosting sales, improving profit margins, expanding product offerings, and streamlining operational processes.
• Expansion of customer base, both domestically and internationally, through proactive business development efforts.
• Formulating and executing sales promotion strategies and content development.
• Working closely with laboratory management, sales leadership, and marketing teams to drive product innovation.
• Anticipating and projecting sales figures while scrutinizing performance.
• Evaluating customers based on their potential for growth, sales performance, and profitability.
• Analysing market competition and formulating strategies to ensure competitiveness.
• Providing guidance to customers on materials and their utilization in product development and final production, collaborating with application engineers and laboratory staff as needed.

Requirements:

• Chemicals experience (Ideally coatings)
• Business knowledge
• Experience in sales/business development
• Experience with acquiring and supporting international customers
• Fluency in English, other languages are a plus!
• Willingness to work from Weilburg
• Mobility and willingness to travel internationally
• Leadership skills
• Ability to collaborate
• Strong communication skills
