One Click LCA is the world-leading construction product project Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) software. We are looking for a German-speaking Business Development Engineer, to support the DACH region.
You will be responsible for identifying customer needs and opportunities and helping them to find and make use of our best matching solutions. Our sales model is predominantly inbound, and we help those contacting us to understand how we can help. In this role, you will be working with manufacturing, design and construction companies.

This role is available as a full-time permanent position and can be performed remotely by candidates based anywhere in the DACH region.
What you’ll do:- Liaise with prospective clients to understand how their business needs can be solved and develop quotes for our solutions to bring on board new customers
- Support existing German-speaking customers by hosting specialist training sessions on LCAs and EPDs
- Get and stay up to date with the One Click LCA platform inside out
- Educate prospects on the value and opportunities of LCA tools, EPD and low-carbon construction
- Keep up to date on developments around LCA and EPD standards, PCRs and practices
- Increase our presence in the DACH region by attending important construction industry events and by seeking and leveraging local partnerships
- Work with the marketing teams to generate demand
- Work with the products teams to improve the tools for the German market
- 5 years + of experience in the construction industry as a project manager, engineer or similar
- Ability and motivation to become an expert in the construction sector LCA software
- Motivation to help others succeed and to find solutions to overcome their obstacles
- Fast learning skills and desire to improve constantly
- Degree or close to a degree in construction industry, LCA, building sustainability or related area
- Customer- and results-oriented attitude
- Very good listening skills and ability to see the situation from a prospect’s/client’s perspective
- Positive approach to business and learning, allowing you to learn what works and what does not
- Hands-on attitude and a drive to get things done
- Proficiency in German and English
- Based in mainland Europe, DACH region preferably - remote basis
