Key Account Manager
Duration-Open Ended -fully remote
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish and maintain long-term business relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and medical specialists in the diabetes field
- Full revenue responsibility for assigned accounts and achievement of agreed sales targets
- Identify and acquire new strategic B2B customers while managing and expanding existing key accounts
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share
- Conduct market analyses and monitor competition to identify trends and growth opportunities
- Organize and participate in trade fairs, conferences, and training events
- Collaborate closely with internal departments such as Marketing, Product Management (matrix structure), and Customer Service to ensure optimal customer experience
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a comparable qualification
- Minimum of 5 years experience in sales or key account management, ideally in the healthcare sector or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of diabetes-related products, services, and reimbursement systems
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a confident and professional demeanor
- Strong customer focus and the ability to build and maintain long-term partnerships
- Willingness to travel and adapt to a dynamic work environment
- Fluency in German and good command of English (spoken and written)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Solid understanding of the diabetes and chronic disease market landscape
- Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office
- Strong planning, analytical, and sales management skills
- Team-oriented mindset combined with self-motivation and excellent organizational abilities
- Confident communication with decision-makers at all levels
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt in a fast-changing market environment
