Our Client is looking to add an Associate to their private credit investment team in Munich. This role is a key position for someone ready to take responsibility early and work on all aspects of evaluating, executing, and monitoring investments.

• Dive deep into potential transactions: run due diligence, challenge assumptions, and map out risks and opportunities
• Take the lead on financial modelling and scenario analysis, ensuring outputs are robust and investment-ready
• Draft crisp, well‑structured memos that translate complex analysis into clear recommendations
• Support the monitoring of portfolio companies and assist with strategic decisions post‑investment
• Work directly with senior colleagues, gaining broad exposure across the full investment lifecycle

• 1–4 years’ experience in private debt, leveraged finance, or restructuring (background in a debt fund particularly valued)
• Strong technical skills and confidence in handling complex financial models
• Ability to structure due diligence workstreams and synthesize findings under tight timelines
• Clear communicator, both in writing and verbally, with an eye for detail
• Self‑starter, collaborative, and motivated to grow in a buy‑side environment
• Fluency in English; German skills are helpful but not essential
