Role Overview

We’re seeking a talented developer with strong experience in WordPress and WooCommerce, and ideally, familiarity with ChatGPT or AI-based integrations. The ideal candidate will help streamline our website by reducing plugin dependencies, improving performance, and implementing custom-coded solutions for existing features.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize our WordPress/WooCommerce website.
• Replace existing plugins with custom-coded functionality (e.g., product variations, add-ons, etc.) to improve performance and scalability.
• Create and manage product listings in WooCommerce.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website-related technical issues in a timely manner.
• Implement best practices for website performance, speed, and security.
• Collaborate with the team to develop new features and enhancements as needed.
• (Optional/Preferred) Integrate ChatGPT or similar AI tools to improve user experience or backend workflows.

Requirements

• Proven experience as aWordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of custom-coded projects.
• Deep understanding ofWooCommerce architectureand functionality.
• Proven ability inPHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience building custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Familiarity withAI/ChatGPT API integrationsis a strong plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with website optimization and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Familiarity with version control (Git)
