About us:We're building the fastest-evolving open-source AI coding agent to make programming accessible to billions. Kilo Code is more than just another coding tool. We're creating asupersetof the best features from existing AI coding agents, combined with our own innovations, all built with community feedback at the core.

The situation:We’re an open source AI coding tool taking on Cursor, Windsurf, and the rest. We just launched Teams. We have more inbound leads than we can handle. We have zero sales process. This is not a bug, it’s your opportunity.

You are:

  • Someone who’s built sales from lead #1 at a dev tools startup (tell us about the dumpster fires AND the wins)
  • Allergic to heavy process but obsessed with what actually converts
  • Comfortable calling a CTO to close a deal, equally comfortable helping a solo dev in Discord
  • Fast. Like, uncomfortably fast for normal companies. Ship a bad process Monday, fix it Tuesday, scale it Wednesday.

Week 1 you will:

  • Process the Typeform lead backlog
  • Close your first deal
  • Wrangle our Google Doc “CRM” into something that works

Month 1 you will:

  • Build the MVP sales process (emphasis on Minimum)
  • Ship 10 small experiments, kill 7, double down on 3
  • Have opinions on pricing that you can defend with data

Month 3 you will:

  • Own Teams revenue completely
  • Have hired your first teammate (or told us why we shouldn’t yet)
  • Be laying groundwork for enterprise while still closing deals yourself

The work setup:

  • Remote, but we ship together in Amsterdam every 2-3 months (think: hackathon energy, not conference rooms). We have an office in SF as well.
  • You’ll be selling to developers who hate being sold to
  • The product changes weekly. Your pitch deck from Monday is outdated by Friday.
  • We thank people publicly, give feedback directly, and own our mistakes
  • Your dopamine needs to come from making things happen, not from having a playbook

Anti-requirements:

  • Years of experience at Oracle/Salesforce/[BigCo]
  • Needing a BDR team to feel productive
  • “I only do enterprise deals”
  • Comfort with slow
